Our products are not meant to replace traditional sunscreen, but to enhance suncare routines with new and effective ways to nurture and protect skin in the sun and heat.

Our Story

While living in Palm Springs, CA, SUN LOVE founder, Jessica Mortarotti, found herself seeking out more holistic (whole body) ways to care for her skin in the intense sun and hot, dry temperatures that went beyond simply applying sunscreen in the moment of sun exposure. She loved the positive benefits of the sun but also wanted to keep her skin as youthful as possible. 

As a lifelong skincare junkie and entrepreneur, she noticed that the suncare industry was almost exclusively focused on sunscreen and took a fear-based approach rather than finding ways to work with the sun and embrace the many positive wellness benefits it provides.

SUN LOVE is committed to finding ways to embrace the positive benefits of the sun in healthy ways.

Harnessing Nature

Our products are formulated with the highest quality, all-natural and botanical ingredients. 

Our featured ingredient, Polypodium Leucotomos Extract (PLE) is a tropical fern known to help defend skin against uv-induced oxidative stress, while also supporting skin recovery after sun exposure. 

Our PLE + Vitamin D3 Supplement is an essential part of a well-rounded, skin longevity-focused suncare routine.

Our best-selling Hydrating Sun Mist is the first topical product to incorporate PLE. The toning and glow-inducing serum-in-mist formulation also includes hyaluronic acid, neroli hydrosol and propanediol to create a distinctive dewy SUN LOVE glow.
